Mission

Pink Wings of Hope is dedicated to empowering individuals within the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind community with the knowledge and support needed to make informed decisions regarding their health and treatment paths.

Vision

Our vision is to inspire, support, and guide those facing a cancer diagnosis. Through education and assistance, we strive to equip individuals with the tools necessary to navigate their cancer journey with confidence and resilience.

Our Story

Four deaf and hard of hearing women, all breast cancer survivors, came together after experiencing firsthand the communication barriers and lack of support for individuals like themselves facing cancer. Recognizing the need for additional support, they founded Pink Wings of Hope on October 11, 2009. Originally focused on supporting breast cancer patients and survivors, Pink Wings of Hope has since broadened its mission to combat all cancers affecting the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind community.

Services

Pink Wings of Hope sends care packages for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind individuals undergoing cancer treatments. Reach out to us to learn more.

Care Packages

A pink box with a variety of pink, white and black items. This include cards, a small boxing gloves, scarf, make up brushes, etc.

We offer resources, advocacy, and direct support services to individuals currently battling cancer, survivors, and caregivers in need of support. Contact us at 314-714-6405.

Pink Wings of Hope organizes various fundraising events to cover the expenses of care packages, training, and other essential services.
